El pasado sábado 7 de agosto, y en el marco del IX Certamen de Cortometrajes “El Pecado 2010” (Llerena, Badajoz), “La Dama y la Muerte” se hizo con el premio del Jurado como Mejor Cortometraje de Animación. Una vez más estuvimos rodeados de competidores de calidad como “Alma” de Rodrigo Blaas (II premio) o “La Historia de Siempre”, de Jose Luis Montesinos, elegido por el Jurado y el Público como Mejor Cortometraje de Ficción.

Mª Luisa Molina, coordinadora de post-producción, fue la encargada de recoger el trofeo en nombre de todo el equipo de “La Dama y la Muerte”.

Desde Kandor Moon queremos agradecer a El Pecado el recibimiento y el premio, y a quienes asistieron al certamen, su afectuoso aplauso.

Last Saurday 7th August within the framework of the 9th Short Film Contest “El Pecado 2010” (Llerena, Badajoz), “The Lady and the Reaper” got hold of the Jury Award Best Animated Short. Once again, we were sorrounded by quality competitors such as “Alma” by Rodrigo Blaas (2nd Prize) and “La Historia de Siempre” by José Luis Montesinos, awarded with both Jury and Audience Prize as the Best Live Action Short Film.

Mª Luisa Molina, post production coordinator, was in charge of picking up the trophy on behalf of the whole “The Lady and the Reaper” team.

El Festival de Alcalá de Henares es uno de los certámenes de cortometrajes más importantes en ámbito nacional y sabíamos de antemano que su público iba a ser de lo más entusiastas que encontraría “La Dama” en España. Queremos aprovechar este espacio para enviar un agradecimiento especial a los organizadores del concurso y a sus espectadores, con los que compartimos el séptimo pase de “La Dama”. El director y guionista, Javier Recio Gracia, visitó el festival junto con Pedro Calvo, “Pococo”, supervisor de Sets & Props, y la coordinadora de postproducción Maria Luisa Molina.

El 14 de Noviembre, esta pequeña delegación de Kandor Moon subió al escenario del Teatro Salón Cervantes orgullosa de recoger el Premio del Público y el Premio Especial de Canal + al Mejor Cortometraje. Sergio de la Puente, también autor de la banda sonora de “El Lince Perdido”, fue premiado con el Trofeo Caja Madrid a la Mejor Música Original.

The Festival de Alcalá de Henares is one of the most important short film contest in our country and we were sure that its audience was going to be one of the most enthusiastic audiences that “The Lady” could meet in Spain. We want to take advantage of this space to give a special thanks to the contest organizers and its spectators, who we shared “The Lady”’s seventh screening with.The director and screenwriter Javier Recio Gracia visited the festival along with Sets & Props supervisor Pedro Calvo “Pococo”, and post-production coordinator Maria Luisa Molina.

On Novembre 14th, this small delegation of Kandor Moon proudly climbed up the stage of Teatro Salón Cervantes to pick up the Audience Award and the Canal+ Special Prize for Best Short Film. Sergio de la Puente, also author of “The Missing Lynx” score, was awarded with the Caja Madrid Trophy for Best Original Music.
